I watched that show - By my side. I think he delivered it very well as an aids patient. Very convincing and it's like Xie Shaoguang in the making. And oh please don't let the little nyonya cast dominates the whole award. They have got enough publicity and nominees. If any surprise, I rather hope it will be 黄文永／一房半厅一水缸. A veteran who has not won this award before, so shouldn't it be time?

I will accept for any win of hers. She did both shows rather well. I think her acting in 一房半厅一水缸 was really good. She really really looked like a medium. If you have seen/consulted a real medium before, you know what I mean. Surprise, surprise... As much as I think Aiyoyo will win, I hope Fann Wong may clinch this award. I like her performance in 沸腾冰点. I think it's a nice show overall, despite critism. But for a politically correct analyse, the black horses will be the little nyonyas, with Jeanette Aw having a higher chance. Reasons? Need I say more?

This bet is based on politically correct analyse. I would so want 朱厚任／沸腾冰点 to win if I were the judge. I cannot forget his phrase of "踩死你...踩死你...踩死你...". For so many years, I thought this role of his planted a deep impression in me. However, I think chew chor meng will win as many people say that his acting is really good in the golden path. I beg to differ. I think wang yu qing, who acted as an insane too, did a better job than him. Oh well~ that's fine, if he wins. Not the Nyonyas please. (Yes, I like the nyonyas at first. But due to its over-pulicity, I got so sick of it. They just go on and on (still on today) about the little nyonya, like my heart will go on...)

It's hard not to give the nyonyas in this case, right? 5 out of 6 nominees. I thought they should given a 6 out of 6 nominees and why bother to put 5 when it is so obvious that any of the nyonyas will win. Ok, I have to say 林梅娇 deserves the win if she really wins tonight. Same as Huang wenyong, a veteran who has not won anything since her debut. Ok, she is less off than Huang wen yong. At least the former got some other awards in other categories while she has won nothing at all to date (except some mockery from her ex-husband). Aside from being a veteran, I thought she did her evil role in Nyonya very well. SO EVIL! If you really want me to choose a black horse, then it will be 黄慧／小娘惹. This is a politically wrong analyse. I just like her role - ah tao, a ma jie, in the Nyonya.

Ohhh... I love this show hosted by Belinda. She really brought me to other countries and discovered things I never knew that were happening at other parts of the world. She made me realise I'm a frog in the well. For goodness sake, let her win. She is GOOD. I'm not really into dancing, but in any case, if she wins with 与心共舞, I will be equally convinced.

From this show, I got to know where my bowl of hainanese rice, wonton mee, yong tau foo etc originated. That is the whole idea of documentary, right? Other than that, I only know about 与心共舞. I never catch the rest. 与心共舞 is quite good, but not my cup of tea.
