DIY.
What do you do when you are deseparately looking for a shelf? And you know you don't want to use the drill & nails which may incur the wrath of your mum...
STEP 1) you use two planks! Wrap them up with non-slip mat (those you may spot in the car to prevent slipping of handphone and what not). Non-slip mats come in different colours and so you choose the colour of your choice. Wrap the wood by using a staple to secure the mat.
Step 2) Apply 3M adhesive to the wall and to the planks. These adhesive can be found at any DIY store and it works like a velcro. And the best thing is that when you pull the white tab beneath the yellow part, it comes off leaving no stain on the wall! Amazing, yes it is.
Note: the vertical plank is to support the top plank. By the law of physics, the top plank cannot be left sticking alone onto the wall without any support below. Alternatively, you could saw the lower plank diagonally and use it to support the one above.
Note 2: The above pics are blur because my camera ran out of battery. My handphone is mediocre, that's all.
